New Seminar Available for Account Sponsors
The course you have been asking for is finally here. The DCRT computer training program is pleased to announce that a new course, "Account Sponsor's Orientation," will be offered for the first time in the summer session and once each term thereafter.
This course will provide suggestions on how to be an effective account sponsor, including special tips on good account management. You will also have an opportunity to try out the facility in a hands-on workshop.
The Computer Facilities Branch has designed the seminar for all account sponsors, regardless of their level of computer knowledge. If you are a beginner or a computer whiz, this seminar will give you specific information and helpful tips on a wide variety of topics.
Have you ever wondered how to find out what accounts belong to a particular sponsor? Among the questions answered:
The first seminar will be offered on Tuesday, July 16, 1996 from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. in Building 12A, classroom B45.
If you are also interested in the seminar for deregistration officials, it will be held the same dayin the afternoon (see below).
The seminar, "Deregistration of Users of the NIH Computer Center," has been improved. It is now much more concise because the sections on account sponsors were removed in order to develop the new seminar mentioned above. This new seminar, "Deregistration Official's Orientation," consists of both a lecture and hands-on practice.
This half-day seminar will be offered on Tuesday, July 16, 1996 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in Building 12A, classroom B45. If you are a deregistration official, or are going to become one, call TASC today and reserve your place.
