SILK Web technology was introduced on the MVS North system in March of 1998 to make MVS data accessible to users via Web browsers (see issue 205 of Interface). Since then, new capabilities have gradually been made available to North system users via the Web. The latest addition is Webmail. Among the options you can specify: multiple addresses (To:), copies (Cc:), blind copies (Bcc:), and an alternate return address for replies.

Webmail is accessible from the North system Web page or directly from http://silkad.nih.gov/webmail.
