Model 204 on the North System Was Upgraded to Version 4.2 in May
On May 29, CIT upgraded Model 204 to version 4.2 (a maintenance release) on the NIH Computer Center’s OS/390 North system. The upgrade should have been transparent to most users. At the same time, the dictionary and subsystem files were upgraded to the new release. Thus there will be no delays in creating new application subsystems.

Release 4.2 has the ability to set a job-step return code in BATCH2 jobs, which can now return a user’s return code to the job step.
