Two Summer Classes Will Help You Prepare for the Transition
South users can register now on the CIT Training Web page for two classes that will prepare them to migrate their work to Titan.
These classes are open to NIH employees and to all users of CIT computing.
July 16 Titan TransitionWhere's My Keyword?
All data security on Titan is provided by RACF. The keyword system, used for security on the South system, does not exist on Titan. This seminar shows you how to use RACF security in place of a keyword for sharing your data with others. Actions you take now on the South system will ease your transition onto Titan.
July 24 Titan TransitionRoadmap to Moving to Titan
Calling all South system usersare you ready to move to Titan? With a few changes to your JCL and a RACF data set profile or two you could be ready to go. This course covers differences between the South system and Titan and outlines approaches that will ease the transition. It describes the changes that are needed, explains which ones can be changed on the South beforehand, and demonstrates tools and informational resources that are available to users.
