NIH Portal Adds Gadget for Web Sponsor
NIH portal userswho have personalized a "MyPage" to contain the tools and information they needcan quickly get to Web Sponsor via its own "gadget." If you already have a personalized Portal page, you can go directly to a Web page that will install the gadget for you.
What the Portal Provides

The NIH Portal enables you to bring together in one site links to NIH common systems and access to common data and documents. Many common services like ITAS, CRISP database, NBS Travel, General Ledger and Budget, nVision, and NIDB are linked through the Portal].
A personalized "MyPage" on the NIH Portal provides access to NIH systems and services, as well as information (e.g., NIH Calendar of Events, shuttle bus schedule) and external resources (e.g., local weather forecasts). This information is available to portal users via "gadgets"mini-applications that provide access to disparate systems. |

How to Create a Personalized "My Page" in the NIH Portal
Go to the NIH Portallog on using your network login (user name and password), select the Communities tab (at the top), and click on the "Portal Information Center" link. Use the button "Click here" to start the Portal Training Tour. Many pages in the Portal have a "HELP" button (upper-right corner) that provides information on the feature you are using.
