South Account Officials—Pick a Sponsor Userid for Titan

On the South system, account officials (sponsors, security coordinators, billing coordinators, and deregistration officials) are identified by a set of initials (iii). If this set of initials is valid for more than one account, the account official can sign onto Web Sponsor using any combination of their account/initials.

On Titan, an account official whose South system initials are valid for multiple accounts has multiple Titan userids (aaaaiii). These officials need to select one Titan userid to be the sponsor userid—that is, the Titan userid they will use to perform sponsor and security functions on Titan. Account officials whose South system initials are only valid for a single account do not need to do anything—their Titan sponsor userids were automatically established.

How to Set Your Titan Sponsor ID

To set your Titan sponsor userid, go to the South system Web Sponsor. On the Accounts side under Actions, click on the link "Set Titan Sponsor Userid." Once the Titan sponsor userid has been set, account sponsors and security coordinators can use Titan Web RACF to create or modify Titan RACF data set profiles on behalf of userids that belong to any one of their accounts.
