South UsersVPN Requests Can Now Be Submitted via Web Sponsor
South system account sponsors are now able to submit VPN requests via Web Sponsor. This service began April 7, 2003.
The customer's account, initials, Uniname, name of ISP, and type of workstation will be required for all new VPN registrations submitted through Web Sponsor. Since DSL and cable modem registrations are no longer available from CIT, they have been removed from Web Sponsor.
The Web Sponsor pages have been slightly reorganized to
create new "Remote Access" heading that includes VPN move Parachute registrations and actions to "Remote Access"
(from the previous grouping with Helix and ALW)
Note: Currently, only VPN registrations submitted via Web Sponsor will be appear in the Remote Access display. However, TASC is resolving the account, initials and Uninames for customers who acquired VPN during the pilot project. As these records are updated, the VPN accounts created before April 7, 2003, will also be displayed.
