New Version of SSH Now Available
Titan now offers the ability to directly transfer MVS files using the SSH protocols (a set of secure protocols widely available on Unix hosts).
Why it's Better
Previously, transferring an MVS file was a two-step procedure that required first copying the data set from MVS to Titan Unix (Unix System Services) and then, on Titan Unix, running the process that performed the actual SSH transfer. This new method of directly transferring MVS files is in addition to the two-step method that has been available for the past year.
What to Do
Because this new version of SSH still requires a Unix System Services enabled Titan userid, customers who need this facility should contact the NIH Help Desk.
