Reminder—Is Your Third-Party Software Compatible with the z/OS System Coming to Titan This Fall?

CIT will install a new operating system on Titan at the NIH Computer Center—version 1.4 of z/OS, which replaces OS/390. This latest level of the operating system has many new enhancements and supports the latest 64-bit IBM mainframe—or zSeries—processors. We expect to migrate to z/OS 1.4 on Titan in the fall of 2004

Ensure That Third-Party Software Will Still Function

All Titan users who have installed third-party software on this system should contact their vendors to ensure that such software will be supported and still functions in this new operating system environment.
